1959 Ford Thunderbird
Now this is one smooth running cruiser. 1959 was the second year of Thunderbirds second generation production. The "squarebird" as it became nicknamed was a larger personal luxury car. As successor for the two- seater, Ford added nearly two feet of length to the car to accommodate the rear seats. This car appears all original from the big V-8 and transmission to the interior and exterior finishes. It was probably refreshed a few years back, all to original specs. You cannot even hear this car running at an idle and she purrs like a kitten gliding down the road. The Thunderbird was my favorite Ford model as a kid and the handsome fins, side rocket accents and hood scoop of this model really set it apart.
