1967 Pontiac GTO
This '67 GTO is very similar to one I shared in high school with my brothers and sisters. Frank, my father and speed-shop owner purchased it in the early 1970's. Oh what a time we had! I knew that some day I would have to get my hands on another. This car is equipped with the original 400 ci, 6500 cc motor mated to the three - speed Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. The Hurst Dual Gate shifter soon became known as the "His and Hers" shifter which could be used as a manual - shift or automatic for an easier driving experience.
The car has new air conditioning, new exhaust, new carburetor, reconditioned radiator, suspension, shocks and springs. Coker red line radial tires with rally wheels, trim rings and center caps. Original 1967 Handbook. Car drives like a dream and sounds like the "Beast" that it is!
